The Hinmon Agency helped Yamhill Community Action Partnership develop a brand identity and collateral materials to support a $2.9 million capital campaign to expand facilities, including a county-wide foodbank.
The challenge was to distinguish the organization from government agencies and create greater awareness that YCAP is a community supported nonprofit. With the tagline, “Changing Lives, Strengthening Our Communities,” the campaign simplified and clarified YCAP’s identity and mission, making it clear to donors that it was a nonprofit supported by tax deductable donations that supported low income families and individuals. Because its programs are diverse and services varied, services were organized into simple user-friendly “blocks,” (such as “transportation,” “feeding the hungry,” and “housing,”) so donors could better understand the scope of the assistance programs.
